What website platforms do you work with?
Our platform of choice is WordPress, both for ease of use and for search-engine friendly structure. We love WordPress because it empowers you to update your own website easily, and also leaves plenty of room for powerful add-ons and ability to grow with your business.
We do have experience with other platforms, such as Squarespace and Shopify, and we know how to get around in many a codebase! But, we think we’re allowed to play favorites. 😉
Can we start right away?
That depends on our workload. Our build timelines typically hover around 8 weeks, perhaps longer if we’re engaged in a complex custom website. We definitely recommend you start looking for a web designer at least a few months in advance of when you’d like your site to be launched.
If we’re full-up on clients, we may not be able to take you on for a month or three. If we have an open spot, though, we can start right away! We recommend you keep an eye on our Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn–we periodically announce on social media when we have space for new clients.
What do you need from me to create my web design?
For us to present your business as accurately and awesomely as possible, we’ll just need a few things from you during our work together:
- Brand Guidelines and/or Inspiration: if you have a brand established, we’ll want to know the details. Whether or not you have a brand, we will want to see examples of websites that match the aesthetic and feel you’re looking for in your site.
- Answers to Our Questions: our Discovery process involves picking your brain, so we can get an in-depth look at your business, and create a strategy that works just for you.
- Prompt Feedback: we’ll present mockups and samples throughout our process, so you can review them and let us know what’s working for you! Our timeline depends on your prompt feedback and approval.
What can I expect to spend on a web design?
Our Brochure Websites currently begin at $6,450, while our Customized Website Design + Development projects can range into $10,000+. We’ll always let you know about costs up-front and get your approval on any additions before we start work.
Not sure which option is the right fit? No worries: we’ll always be real with you about what you need. That means we won’t try to push you into a Customized build when a Brochure site would do just fine–or vice versa.
